Buttercream Syrup is one of our favorites, especially in concert with maple syrup. This goes well with pancakes, waffles, crepes, aebleskivers, etc.

Melt the butter

Butter
Instructions
Place the butter in a sauce pan and melt the butter over a medium high heat.

Stir and boil

Sugar

Evaporated Milk
Instructions
Add the sugar and evaporated milk to the butter in the sauce pan. Stir constantly while bringing it to a boil, and let it boil for 3 minutes (while continually stirring of course).

Add last ingredients

Vanilla

Salt
Instructions
Add the vanilla and salt to the sauce, and stir to combine.

Rest

Let the sauce sit for 3-4 minutes to allow it to thicken a bit before serving.
