I was given this recipe to go with our crepes. It is a new favorite in our family and is used for everything. The original recipe made 4 cups, so I always cut it in half, which is what I am posting here.

Instructions
Add sugar and cornstarch to a saucepan over medium heat. Gradually add water and stir to combine Cook until mixture starts to boil and then boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat.

Instructions
Zest and juice lemons. Stir in lemon zest, lemon juice, and butter. Let cool 30 minutes before serving. Serve warm.
