A friend told me about these potatoes and WOW! They have become some of our favorites. They take an hour, with a little bit of work in between.
Melting Potatoes
1
Buttery mix
Ingredients
1/2 teaspoon
salt
1/2 teaspoon
pepper
4 tablespoons
butter
1 teaspoon
rosemary
Instructions
Preheat oven to 450* F. Mix seasoning and butter together in a small bowl.
Sometimes I mix everything in a ziplock to make coating the potatoes easier. Sometimes I just dump the butter on top of the potatoes after they are in the pan.

Potatoes
Ingredients
4 medium
Yukon gold potatoes
Instructions
Slice potatoes into 1/2" rounds. (You don't need to peel potatoes.) Toss potatoes with butter mix to coat. In a 9x13 pan, spread potatoes in a single layer in pan.
The recipe called for 1" slices but we like them thinner. Make sure they are not too thin or they will fall apart when you try to turn them over.
